Cookie Policy
Effective date: 21 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how BeanRush Pte. Ltd. ("BeanRush", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://beanrush.pro (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and present clear choices through our cookie banner: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the Site function, remember preferences, or understand how guests use pages — depending on category and your consent.
2. How we obtain consent
When you first visit the Site, a banner explains our cookie use and offers three actions:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, analytics, and preference storage.
- Reject all — enables strictly necessary cookies only; analytics and preference cookies remain disabled.
- Customise — opens a panel where you toggle analytics and preferences independently.
Your choice is stored in browser local storage under the key beanrush_consent for approximately six months, after which the banner may appear again. You may change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser or contacting us — we will honour updated preferences on subsequent visits.
PDPA consent on contact forms is separate from cookie consent and is never pre-checked.
3. Cookie categories
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies and storage entries are required for the Site to operate and cannot be switched off via our banner. They include:
- Cookie consent record (
beanrush_consent) — stores your banner choice so we do not ask repeatedly every page load. Duration: approximately six months. - Session or security tokens if deployed by hosting infrastructure to protect against abuse.
- Load-balancing identifiers from our hosting provider to deliver pages reliably.
Legal basis: legitimate interests and contractual necessity to provide the Site you request.
3.2 Analytics (optional — requires consent)
When you Accept all or enable Analytics in Customise, we may use tools such as privacy-oriented analytics services to understand aggregated traffic — pages viewed, referral sources, device types, approximate geography. We use this to improve menu clarity, fix broken links, and understand whether guests find visit information easily.
Typical vendors in this category may include:
- Plausible Analytics or similar privacy-focused platforms — cookie-light or cookieless configuration, IP anonymisation, no cross-site profiling for advertising.
- Google Analytics 4 — only if explicitly enabled in our deployment; would use identifiers such as
_gawith configurable retention (typically up to fourteen months). We configure IP anonymisation where available and do not use analytics for remarketing without separate disclosure.
Duration: per vendor — generally thirteen to twenty-six months for persistent analytics cookies unless shortened in configuration.
Legal basis: consent. If you Reject all, analytics scripts do not load.
3.3 Preferences (optional — requires consent)
Preference cookies remember choices that improve repeat visits — for example reduced-motion override beyond system settings, or dismissed promotional banners if we deploy them. Currently preference storage mirrors consent metadata; additional preference keys may be added with updated notice on this page.
Duration: up to six months aligned with consent storage unless you clear browser data sooner.
Legal basis: consent.
4. Similar technologies
We may use local storage (as with consent records), session storage for transient UI state, and server access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and debugging. Server logs are retained briefly on hosting infrastructure — typically thirty to ninety days — and are not used for marketing profiling.
We do not deploy advertising or social-media tracking pixels unless this policy is updated with explicit notice and consent mechanisms.
5. Third-party cookies
Some embedded content (for example a map iframe if present on the contact page) may set third-party cookies governed by the provider's policy. We minimise third-party embeds and prefer static contact details where possible. Review provider policies when interacting with embedded tools.
6. How to change or withdraw consent
You can:
- Clear site data / local storage for beanrush.pro in your browser settings — the banner will reappear on next visit.
- Use browser controls to block all cookies — note that strictly necessary functions may still use minimal storage required for operation.
- Email [email protected] requesting confirmation of stored consent or deletion of analytics identifiers associated with your visit where feasible.
Browser-specific guidance is available from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge help centres under "cookies" or "site data".
7. Do Not Track
Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals in a standardised way. Optional analytics remain off until you consent via the banner.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add vendors, change retention, or adjust consent mechanics. The effective date at the top will change. Material updates may reset the banner so you can choose again.
